Giving Back Across New England:
Community Impact Through The Portland Group
One of the pillars of our mission is philanthropy – using our time, energy, and resources to do good and give back. Each year, The Portland Group proudly runs its Gives Back Program, supporting local organizations and making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.
Philanthropy is central to The Portland Group’s mission, and our Gives Back Program turns that commitment into meaningful local impact. Alongside Splash, Spritzo, our Wholesale Warehouses, and Retail Showrooms, we’ve rallied across New England and Maine to exceed fundraising goals – supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Manchester and helping send kids to summer camp, while also empowering recalibrated veterans and their families through the Travis Mills Foundation’s adaptive retreats and programs.
But giving back isn’t limited to a single campaign. Throughout the year, Portland Group team members volunteer their time and expertise to community projects across our branch regions – from sponsoring local trade programs that develop the next generation of skilled professionals to partnering with organizations that strengthen the neighborhoods where our customers live and work. As we continue to grow across New England, so does our commitment to the communities that make that growth possible.
Throughout the 2025 holiday season, The Portland Group – along with our Wholesale Warehouses and Retail Showrooms – raised funds in support of the Travis Mills Foundation in Maine, an incredible organization dedicated to empowering recalibrated veterans and their families.
Through adaptive retreats and thoughtfully designed programs, the Foundation helps veterans overcome physical and emotional challenges while strengthening family bonds.
In addition to fundraising efforts across our locations, several members of our team proudly represented The Portland Group at a Boston Bruins game, collecting donations in support of the Travis Mills Foundation and its mission to serve veterans and their families.
Our goal was to meet last year’s total – but in true Portland Group fashion, we didn’t stop there. We continued to raise the bar, surpassing each internal mini goal along the way. On Sunday, January 25th, 2026 members of The Portland Group and our Retail Showrooms came together to attend and participate in the BFit Challenge at TD Garden. Alongside the Travis Mills Foundation, we were proud to present a $110,000 check, made possible by the commitment of our team and the generosity of our community.
